Tories accuse Nigel Farage of ‘talking down Britain’ after Robert Jenrick rebukes Kemi Badenoch

A high Tory MP has slapped down Reform’s narrative of “speaking down Britain” after Robert Jenrick took yet one more swipe at his former Conservative colleagues.

Mr Jenrick, who joined Nigel Farage’s band of MPs final month, mocked the Tories for concluding Britain isn’t damaged – though they admitted techniques wanted fixing.


Nonetheless, becoming a member of GB Information this morning, Shadow Minister Alicia Kearns declared: “Our nation isn’t damaged. The British folks symbolize essentially the most wonderful nation.
