Israeli Protection Minister Israel Katz stated Wednesday that Iran’s Intelligence Minister Esmail Khatib has been killed in in a single day strikes in Tehran, marking the third assassination of a high-ranking official in simply two days.
The report comes after Israel stated Tuesday that Iran’s prime safety official Ali Larijani and the commander of Iran’s Basij forces, Gholamreza Soleimani, had each been killed. Iran’s official judiciary information company later confirmed the killing of Soleimani, the AP reported.
“The depth of the assaults in Iran is growing. We’re within the midst of the decisive victory,” Katz stated in an announcement, based on the Related Press.
“After the highly effective assassinations of senior regime officers, the de facto chief of Iran (Ali) Larijani and head of the Basij ‘Homicide Inc.’ group, (Gholam Reza) Soleimani, the Iranian Intelligence Minister (Esmail) Khatib was additionally assassinated final evening – who was in control of the regime’s inside homicide and repression system in Iran and of selling exterior threats,” he added.
Iran has not but commented on the report.
