Europe unveils tech sovereignty package amid U.S. tech reliance concerns

The European Fee on Wednesday proposed a slew of recent guidelines supposed to bolster homegrown chips, AI and cloud providers because the bloc scrambles to develop tech sovereignty amid enormous reliance on services and products from the U.S. and China.

The proposals, which should be authorized by all 27 member states, embody new actions to bolster superior chip manufacturing and homegrown cloud computing.
