U.S. forces have performed “self protection” strikes in southern Iran early Tuesday, with U.S. Central Command saying that this was to “defend our troops from threats posed by Iranian forces.”
CENTCOM spokesman Tim Hawkins stated targets included missile launch websites and Iranian boats trying to emplace mines.
